The GAFHawk's original 893 kW Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-45R turbine engine was later replaced with this impressive, but weird-looking new radial engine. It is a PZL-Kalisz ASz-62IR-M18/K9-BB, which also powers types such as the PZL M-18 Dromader and the Antonov 2. The way this radial is mounted on the airframe gives it a bit of a strange, somewhat "flimsy" look. Photo taken at All West Airport near Delta Junction, AK on 11 June 2006.
